Day 1: Arrival – Nairobi
Jambo! Welcome to Kenya.
On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, meet our experienced guide. As you are transferred to your hotel, the guide will give you an insight on the wonderful adventures ahead.
Kenya’s capital city has risen in a single century from a brackish uninhabited swampland to a thriving modern capital. Modern Nairobi is still the safari capital of the Africa, but the modern world has quickly caught up with the city. A frontier town no more, Nairobi has become one of Africa’s largest, and most interesting cities. Nairobi is a city that never seems to sleep. The entire town has a boundless energy, and is thriving place where all of human life can be found. This is a place of great contrasts where race, tribe and origin all become facets of a unique Nairobi character.
The city has not lost its sense of the past, with an excellent museum and the historical home of Karen Blixen, author of Out of Africa open to visitors.

Day 2: Visit to Giraffe Center & Daphne Sheldrick
Start your exploration of this beautiful country as you depart for Giraffe Centre. This is a nature centre run by the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife. An elevated observation walkway allows you to get face to face with 18-foot-tall Rothschild’s giraffes.
Your next stop is at the Daphne Sheldrick. Elephant calves orphaned by poachers or natural occurrences are brought here from all over the country. They receive extremely specialized treatment and personalized care from highly dedicated staff.
The orphanage is open to the public during the calves feeding times where they can interact with calves and watch them being fed while they are informed how each of the elephant calves came to be at the orphanage.
Following your visit here, you will be transferred to the Utamaduni Restaurant for lunch.
This afternoon visit Bomas of Kenya. Situated 10km from Nairobi city center, and about 1 km past main entrance of the game-filled Nairobi National Park, Bomas of Kenya lets you see the wonderful diversity of cultures that make up this fascinating country.
At Bomas different aspects of Kenyan culture are displayed including living styles, crafts, music and dancing. The word Bomas was derived from “Boma”-a Swahili word for enclosed homestead and there are now many different “Bomas”, each one representing one of Kenya’s major ethnic groups.
The talented resident artistes perform traditional dances and songs taken from the country’s 16 various tribal groups, including Arab-influenced Swahili taarab music, Kalenjin warrior dances, Embu drumming and Kikuyu circumcision ceremonies.
Later, drive back to your hotel.
